Intense whitish mucopurulent discharge is observed throughout the day with the eye having a reddish hue.
There is pain which is worse upon looking up or at light.

Inability to do near work comfortably
Blurry vision due to the discharge.
Redness
Itchiness in the eye
Excessive tearing
Swelling of eyelids
Gritty feeling, especially when blinking
Discharge that forms a crust-like structure around the eyelids preventing it from opening
